Urban Life is a church of people from various backgrounds and different nationalities who follow Jesus Christ and who live in the city of Derby. A church is simply a community of people centred around Jesus - that's what we are! We are based at the St Chads Centre in Normanton but our communities meet in various places at various times through the week.

St Chads Centre is a community centre on St Chads Road in Normanton. It is owned by St Chads Parish Trust and managed by Urban Life.
It is home to both Urban Life Church Communities, and the Derby Language School. It is available for hire for small functions and meetings. Space available for hire includes a small community room, a conservatory, kitchen and outdoor patio and play area.

Urban Life NormantonThe Normanton community usually meets on Sundays at 4pm at St Chads Centre (except on the joint Urban Life Together celebration weekend). We worship, pray, read the bible and eat together. We also meet in homes during the week for a social hangout.

Vida UrbanaVida Urbana is our Spanish speaking community. This community usually meets on a Saturday night or a Tuesday afternoon at St Chads Centre. On the first weekend of the month we are part of Urban life Together.

Urban Life TogetherNormally on the first Sunday of the month we gather for Urban Life Together - a joint celebration of our communities. We meet at St Chads Centre at 10.30am to pray, worship, and hear from God's word. Then we eat together afterwards.
