This is the final chapter of Luke's gospel. Listen in to what happens as the followers of Jesus start to understand what has happened. At first they are confused and unbelieving. Then slowly slowly.... As Good Friday dawns, here's chapter 23 of Luke - the trial, death and burial of Jesus. One where Jesus warns of coming troubles - mainly about the time the Romans moved and overthrew the Jewish resistance and the temple in AD70 - and ch22 where Judas betrays Jesus, Peter denies Jesus and he is arrested. |
